Boss Greedy Reflects on Life's Changes in "As the World Turns"
Life rarely follows a straight path. People grow, relationships evolve, and circumstances constantly shift.

Life rarely follows a straight path. People grow, relationships evolve, and circumstances constantly shift. Boss Greedy captures that reality in the reflective track "As the World Turns" from his project 1978 Rock Canyon Drive.

The song emerged during a period of self-discovery for the artist. When asked what was happening in his life during the creation of the record, Boss Greedy explains that he was navigating a deeply personal phase of growth.

"The happenings in my life during the creation of these songs were me finding me," he says. "Learning to love me, and dealing with the ups and downs of relationships, friendships, and family ships."

Those experiences became the emotional foundation for the record.

The title itself carries a nostalgic element. When discussing what inspired the hook for the song, Boss Greedy recalls a childhood memory of watching his mother follow the long-running television show As the World Turns. The phrase eventually became a metaphor for life's unpredictability.

As he puts it simply: "Life be lifing."

The song also explores an important question: Is the world changing around us, or are we changing within it?

For Boss Greedy, the answer is both.

"The world is definitely changing around me daily," he explains. "In ways that challenge me internally and teach me how to adapt through self work."

Through "As the World Turns," Boss Greedy encourages listeners to reflect on their own journeys and recognize that growth often comes from navigating life's unexpected twists.
